We invite you to grab a mat and come join us. On nice days we will have yoga on our lawn, and on cold or wet days we will have it in the Douglasville Police Department Community Room next to the main building. This is a FREE class once a month on a scheduled Wednesday evening that begins at 5:30 pm and lasts about an hour. See our FB Event for a full schedule of all our dates available through December 2023. You do not have to sign up ahead of time. Just show up and be ready to exercise.
The Douglasville Police Department invites everyone to fellowship together while discussing topics impacting our community. Discussions are held on the 2nd & 4th Thursday of the month. (No 4th Thursday meetings in November or December, nor on holidays). We speak on local issues and work together as one for the benefit of the community. Follow us on Facebook to see all our events and meetings. Let’s get February started! Join us Thursday, March 23.
On Saturday, March 25, the Douglasville Police Department will be hosting a Community Job Fair outside on our front lawn. We are inviting all businesses in Douglasville, Douglas County, and surrounding to participate whether they are hiring for full-time, part-time, or temporary positions. Come and check out your employment options in one place. This will include all businesses as well as law enforcement agencies and other government employment opportunities.
